While receiving God-Knowledge, a seeker pledges to follow five principles given as: 1. One should consider all one's worldly assets - physical, mental and material as ultimately belonging to God and one may utilized them as a trustee and should not be proud of these possessions. 2. One should not feel proud of one's religion, caste, colour and creed as also the status (Ashram); one should love every one as a fellow human being. 3. One should not hate or criticize others on account of their diet and dress which may be different from his or her own. 4. One must not leave one's hearth and home, become recluse or ascetic and be a burden on others; one must earn one's own livelihood through honest hard work and fulfil one's responsibilities as a family person. 5. One must not divulge to others the divine knowledge as revealed by the True Master, without a word from him. This will save him or her from the pride of being in possession of God-Knowledge.

What is life?

God has a master plan. He has given us life as a gift. To live it is a boon but to understand it is a curse because one spends his whole life trying to understand life. But when he finally does, all that he can stare upon is death. This is because life is so vast. It means different in different stages.

At times it is a challenge to overcome all the struggles, like it is for many of the Nepalese people who are under the poverty level. At other times, it becomes a mystery, like for many who try to unfold this mystery. Sometimes, it is a tragedy that has to be faced. It might be joy, it might be sorrow. Life gives us a line of rights but a novel of duties, to perform. Live is game and sometimes even a gamble. Sometimes, it feels like a dream, but we must realize it as a reality.

Life is a journey and it is a long one. We must have patience. It is sad but true that no matter what the path, life always ends in death. It is said that our spirit never dies. It is not that it never dies, what matters is how it is kept alive. We must do what is right, may be a little mischievous occasionally to add some flavour to life but we must always be optimistic towards fulfilling our purpose in life, and aim high.
A great man once said, "Show me a man who is content with mediocrity and I'll show you a man who is destined for failure."
Once a man climbed Mt. Everest without oxygen. He came back exhausted and dying. When someone asked him why he had gone there to die, he said, "I didn't go there to die, I went there to live."
So, life is an opportunity to prove our worth to God and to everyone else, and even to stay alive for ever at least in memories if not in existence.
