- Mr. Williams and Mr. Barnet play chess every night.
- Mr. Barnet and Mr. Edwards go to baseball games together.
- The taxi driver collects coins, the fireman lead soldiers, and the baker stamps.
- The taxi driver has never seen a ball game.
- Mr. Edwards has never heard of approvals.
The answer goes like this:::
ReplyDeleteSince the taxi driver has never seen a ball game he must be Mr. Williams. Also, Mr. Edwards has never heard of approvals so he can't be a stamp collector. Therefore, the three occupations are: Mr. Williams is a taxi driver; Mr. Edwards is a fireman, and Mr. Barnet is a baker.
