While receiving God-Knowledge, a seeker pledges to follow five principles given as: 1. One should consider all one's worldly assets - physical, mental and material as ultimately belonging to God and one may utilized them as a trustee and should not be proud of these possessions. 2. One should not feel proud of one's religion, caste, colour and creed as also the status (Ashram); one should love every one as a fellow human being. 3. One should not hate or criticize others on account of their diet and dress which may be different from his or her own. 4. One must not leave one's hearth and home, become recluse or ascetic and be a burden on others; one must earn one's own livelihood through honest hard work and fulfil one's responsibilities as a family person. 5. One must not divulge to others the divine knowledge as revealed by the True Master, without a word from him. This will save him or her from the pride of being in possession of God-Knowledge.

Remove unwanted startup programmes

Many programs are designed to automatically load when you boot up your computer. Typically, they will run in the background, so they will immediately open when you click on the program's icon. This is convenient for programs that you actually need, but for those you don't, it merely drains system resources, slowing down your computer.

There are 3 places where Windows will load programs on startup.

The Unforgivable Curses

In the Harry Potter books, an unforgivable curse is a curse which results in severe damage or death to the witch or wizard that it is performed on. If convicted of casting an unforgivable curse, the sentence is life imprisonment in Azkaban, the wizarding prison. Only three curses are considered unforgivable: the Cruciatus curse, the Imperius curse, and Avada Kedavra. Readers are introduced to the unforgivable curses in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire during a Defense Against the Dark Arts class, when the curses are demonstrated on spiders.

How To Get Out Of A Traffic Ticket!

A police officer pulls a guy over for speeding and has the following exchange:

Officer: May I see your driver's license?
Driver: I don't have one. I had it suspended when I got my 5th DUI.

Officer: May I see the owner's card for this vehicle?
Driver: It's not my car. I stole it.

Officer: The car is stolen?
Driver: That's right. But come to think of it, I think I saw the owner's card in the glove box when I was putting my gun in there.

Officer: There's a gun in the glove box?
Driver: Yes sir. That's where I put it after I shot and killed the woman who owns this car and stuffed her in the trunk.

Officer: There's a BODY in the TRUNK?!?!?
Driver: Yes, sir.

Is hell exothermic or endothermic?

The following is an actual question given on a University of Washington engineering mid-term. The answer was so "profound" that the Professor shared it with colleagues, and the sharing obviously hasn't ceased...

Bonus Question: Is Hell exothermic (gives off heat) or Endothermic (absorbs heat)?

Most of the students wrote Proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's Law, (gas cools off when it expands and heats when it is compressed) or some variant. One student, however, wrote the following:

"First, we need to know how the mass of Hell is changing in time. So we need to know the rate that souls are moving into Hell and the rate they are leaving. I think that we can safely assume that once a soul gets to Hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving. As for how many souls are entering Hell, let us look at the different religions that exist in the world today. Some of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to Hell. Since there are more than one of these religions and since people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all souls go to Hell. With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in Hell to increase exponentially.

Creation and Creator

Man is bewildered to think how vast, beautiful and useful the material world is. His practical life is so closely dependent on the material world that it is but natural that it should have a great significance for him. It will be no exaggeration to say that man is totally lost in this vast creation. His achievements prompt him to probe its mysteries still more. He feels that in case he continues to probe, he will secure still more comforts and conveniences. He devotes his entire life in research of the material creation. That is why material progress has become the sole aim of his life. Despite his research since time immemorial, he has not reached the end. For this, one reason can be that the material creation is undergoing moment to moment change. When one thing is extinct, another takes its place. Thus, man remains entangled in this cycle. This is called illusion. Caught in this crisis, man falls a prey to success and failure in the game of life. There is no stability.

Rainbow

A rainbow is an arch of light exhibiting the spectrum colors in their order, caused by drops of water falling through the air. It is seen usually in the sky opposite to the sun at the close of a shower and also in the spray of waterfalls. In the brightest or primary bow; often the only one seen, the colours are arranged with the red outside. Above the perfect bow is a secondary bow; in which the colours are arranged in reverse order; this bow is dimmer, because of a double reflection withing the drops.

Composting of household organic waste

Composting bin can be made at home from old plastic buckets, barrels by poking holes on them for aeration or one can purchase the ready made composting bins.
All types of kitchen organic wastes can be dumped for composting into the bin.
Carbon and Nitrogen ratio should be 25:1 in degrading the waste. If the waste contains more Nitrogen than Carbon then it can be balanced by adding rice husk, ash, saw dust etc. Water content of the waste in composting bin should be about 50-60%.

Spirituality and Children

O God Help Us !
It is said that children are the backbone of our society. They are images of God. Most of us work hard for our children and would do anything for them. However, there remains the painful fact that some children suffer abuse by their parents, some are in serious conflict with them and some take to drugs.
Can spirituality be one of the solutions to the problem of today's youth? A lot of parents want their children to attend church meeting or Sunday school. Some children go along with this wish and some resent it strongly. In the latter case, this also becomes and issue of prestige.
