While receiving God-Knowledge, a seeker pledges to follow five principles given as: 1. One should consider all one's worldly assets - physical, mental and material as ultimately belonging to God and one may utilized them as a trustee and should not be proud of these possessions. 2. One should not feel proud of one's religion, caste, colour and creed as also the status (Ashram); one should love every one as a fellow human being. 3. One should not hate or criticize others on account of their diet and dress which may be different from his or her own. 4. One must not leave one's hearth and home, become recluse or ascetic and be a burden on others; one must earn one's own livelihood through honest hard work and fulfil one's responsibilities as a family person. 5. One must not divulge to others the divine knowledge as revealed by the True Master, without a word from him. This will save him or her from the pride of being in possession of God-Knowledge.

A beautiful gift

The most important and the most difficult thing to give is forgiveness. Forgiveness. Yes, that is it. I must forgive, always, again and again, forgive. As soon as I stop forgiving, I build a wall. And a wall is the beginning of a prison. Above all, if life I've got to do two things: understand and forgive, forget.

The good ground

Once Lord Jesus Christ narrated a parable - The Parable of the Sower (Luke 8:5-15):
"A sower went out to sow his seed in his field. As he started sowing, some seed fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.
"And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away because it lacked moisture.
"And some fell among throns; and the throns sprang with it, and chocked it.
"And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold..."

"And his disciples asked him, saying. What might this parable be?

Charlie Chaplin - King of Comedy

Charlie Chaplin (1889 - 1977), was an English motion picture actor, director, producer, and composer, on of the most creative artists in the film history, who first achieved worldwide fame through his performances in silent films. His full name was Sir Charles Spencer Chaplin.
Born in London, as a child Chaplin appeared in music hall and apntomime performances. In 1910 he toured the United States with a pantomime toupe and decided to remain in the country. Chaplin first appeared on the screen in 1914 with the Keystone Film Company of American director Mack Sennett. In Kid Auto Races at Venice (1914), wearing baggy pants, enormous shoes, and a bowler hat and carrying a bamboo cane, he originated his world - famous character, the Tramp. He played this classic role in more than 10 films during his career. He was associated later with the Essanay Film Company, the Mutual Film Company, and the First National Film Company. In 1918 his own studio in Hollywood, California, was completed. During these years Chaplin gradually developed the tramp character from a jaunty, slapstick stereotype into the compassionate human figure that came to be loved by audiences throughout the world. In 1919 he helped found the United Artists Corporation, with which he was associated until 1952. Important pictures Chaplin produced, directed, and starred in include The Kid (1921), The Pilgrim (1923), The Gold Rush (1925), The Circus (1928), City lights (1931), Modern Times (1936), The Great Dictator (1940), Monsieur Verdoux (1947), Limelight (1952), and A King in New York (1957). Chaplin wrote, directed, and played in A Countess from Hong Kong (1967). He also composed background music for most of his films.

Forgiveness

The most important thin I must five, but the most difficult, if forgiveness. I must forgive, always, again and again. As soon as I stop forgiving, I build a wall, and a wall is the beginning of prison. Above all, in life I've got to do two things: (a) understand and (b) forgive and forget. In the normal course of events, disagreements, frictions and tensions will develop. Only when a person understands that other people are different, and only when he is ready to forgive, is it possible to live together. Otherwise, there is a state of mutual siege and you live in a day-in, day-out, cold or hot water.

Nothing

A Chinese proverb says: "Where there is nothing, there is the way." Obstensibly, I find that whenever we think of a way, we think of a smooth, unhindred passage. Whenever even the most precious thing is found in the way, it is an obstruction and has to be removed to go ahead. I am of the opinion that wherever there is nothing, it is always the way and nothing else. To examplify, let me point out that solution is always found for a problem. If there were no problems, there could be no solution. Similarly, a thirsty man need water and not a person who is already satisfied with drinks. Riches always flow to the needy, because they need them the most. One has to be sufficiently poor to invite riches. O f course, even a very rich man can be a very poor person! One, who is totally ignorant, is most qualified for knowledge. To quote the Holy Bible: "You knock and it shall open unto you." A person who is already inside, does not need knocking.
